The newest patch from Epic Games includes new skins which look set to go live in the weeks to come.
An updated version was mentioned in the notes of the latest update for mobile users and it lead one fan to question Epic Games on Twitter.
Today, Epic Games officially introduced a new burst assault rifle (in Epic and Legendary) by way of Update 4.2 to the sandbox survival title Fortnite that also added a new healing item for players to utilize as well.
As has been the norm for "Fortnite" in recent months, the new patch made a bevy of changes to the way some weapons work and even added a couple totally new ones. When you're done snacking, hunt for the new Epic and Legendary rarity Burst Assault Rifle.
The new weapon can be found in floor loot, treasure chests, supply drops and vending machines.
However, it also probably saved a lot of players headaches, with the team able to stop a high-level bug being added to the game.
The uncommon item can replenish a players health by five, up to a maximum of 100. They can even be picked from trees around the map.
While Epic Games haven't announced anything about new skins being released, the team usually refresh the Fortnite Shop every few days. Gamers play "Fortnite" against Twitch streamer and professional gamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins during Ninja Vegas '18 at Esports Arena Las Vegas at Luxor Hotel and Casino on April 21, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
For Fortnite's Save the World mode, the Perk Recombobulator allows players to choose and upgrade the perks of weapons and traps.
This will be joined by other new items, including three pickaxes, two gliders and three additional back bling.
Unfortunately, this patch also marks the end of the special "Avengers: Infinity War" crossover event. As its name implies, it is a rocket launcher that fires four rockets at once.
