For a time this weekend, Fry's Electronics had published product listings on its site for the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play.

We believe the generic Moto G6 will also have the aforementioned feature as it is also tipped to come with dual-camera, but sadly the low-end Moto G6 Play, which comes with a single primary camera, will not have photo background edit option. To probably increase space for display, the company may have shifted it to rear-side. The Moto G6 Play comes with a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Moto G6 Play costs $199 and will start shipping on May 17.

For imagine, it is expected to retain a similar 12MP + 5MP main camera combo while the front may come with a 16MP selfie shooter.

"The short-lived Fry's page for the black, 32GB G6 showed that the phone will have a 5.7" full HD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 3,000maAh battery with TurboPower charging, and 3D glass back, which is in line with expectations. The handset measures 154.5 x 72.2 x 8.3mm and weighs 162.3 grams. There's a microSD card slot here too, which can hold up to 128GB of extra storage. The highlight of the G6 Plus is expected to be its dual camera setup which consists of a 12-megapixel camera paired with a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. Given the almost identical chassis, a battery with capacity around the Z2 Play's 3,000mAh is a reasonable expectation. It has a front-facing 16-megapixel camera that is accompanied by an LED flash.

Moving down a notch is the Moto G6 Play which offers a larger 4,000mAh battery.

The upcoming generation of Motorola's bread-and-butter handsets appear to be inspired by numerous developments in the industry we've witnessed over the past year, such as wider 18:9 displays and dual cameras. These smartphones are also said to feature a facial recognition technology just like many others being launched of late. They also run on Android 8.0. The Snapdragon 630 chipset that powers the Moto X4 smartphone from previous year drives the G6 Plus.

The fingerprint sensor of the Moto G6 will be placed in the front panel of the phone right below the display, with which users cannot only unlock the device but also the apps.

The device has splash resistance and a 3,000mAh battery which is rated to last a full day.
