The Rookie of the Year candidate left the game with 3:37 left in the third, giving the Sixers the kind of performance they needed a game after All-Star center Joel Embiid suffered an orbital eye fracture. "Unfortunate freak accident but I'll be more than fine".

Elsewhere, Ben Simmons is in the right mindset for scoring triple-doubles as the Philadelphia 76ers toppled the Atlanta Hawks 101-91.

Embiid took to Twitter to express his frustration in his alma mater, and things got dark quickly as he realized what Villanova - the team that hails from the same city he plays! - was doing to his Jayhawks.

April 14 is the date two weeks away from today, which is the exact same day which the NBA Playoffs are scheduled to begin, so Embiid could be back in time for the Sixers to play in their first-round game of the postseason.

Ingram is the Lakers' second-leading scorer at 16.1 points per game in his second National Basketball Association season. And if he can return in two weeks, all the better for the 76ers.

Russell Westbrook had 33 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds for the Thunder, who have lost three of their last five games. Simmons and these young 76ers will be unsafe and they still have a good chance at the No. 3 seed.

Philadelphia is now the No.4 seed in the Eastern Conference, sitting just percentage points ahead of the No.5 seed Indiana Pacers. Lauri Markkanen and Sean Kilpatrick each scored 13 points for the Bulls.

Chicago accounted for New Orleans 90-82 and Milwaukee edged the Lakers 124-122 in overtime in LA.
