Rapper Drake has helped to make a fan's college dreams easier by handing her a $50,000 scholarship. She revealed that she was asked to take part in a video encouraging people to donate to the university and did not expect to see Drake there.
"Drake told me that he has read great things about me and appreciates how hard I've worked through so many trials and made a decision to give me $50K for my tuition", she wrote. Last year, Lopez hinted that Drake was a "booty call" during her residency concert at the AXIS at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Earlier this week, Drake was snapped filming on a giant crane over Miami Senior High School. I received those scholarships and thought that was the end of it. Drake not only got a job straight out of high school, (he was Jimmy on the show "Degrassi"), he dropped out of high school. There, the rapper awarded a student with a $50,000 scholarship outside the Frost School of Music, according to The Miami Hurricane.
Drake also announced that every student at the school would be receiving a uniform made exclusively by OVO, his clothing line.
The infamous lyric: "She say, "Do you love me?' I tell her, 'Only partly"/ I only love my bed and my momma, I'm sorry". Both songs are included in Drake's upcoming album Scary Hours.
"It's the first time somebody like Drake comes in the store", store manager Jose Hernandez told 7 News Miami.
The uplifting song, which is filled with quotables, is already on its way to becoming one of Drake's most commercially successful songs ever. I sent him a gang of beats, and probably a week later he hits me up at like five in the morning. If one listens close, the artist is using wordplay to spell out U-N-I to reference university.
The music producer also teamed up with Migos in the group's song "Deadz" and Kendrick Lamar for his track "GOD".
