The Mukesh Ambani-led telecom operator has made changes to its Rs 153 plan which was touted to be the company's "affordable" plan.
Under the new Jio Surprise Cashback offer, subscribers will get the benefits in the form of vouchers and wallet cashbacks - there will be no coupons for discounts on online shopping in the ongoing offer period. But we can't say that Vodafone is far behind from the race of launching new prepaid plans for all prepaid users.
Earlier, the Rs 153 plan for JioPhone offered 500MB data per day for 28 days, a total of 14GB for the entire validity period.
These vouchers can be redeemed, one at a time, against recharges of Rs 300 and above plans and against Rs 91 & above data add-ons, via myjio app. The offer can be available from today under which Jio offering cashback worth Rs 400 on recharges above Rs 398.
If a user consumes the 1GB data FUP per day, then the Sachet recharges comes into play. That cashback offer ended on January 15, i.e. yesterday, and hence, the telco has now announced a new offer under which it's offering "more than 100% cashback" to its customers. They will also get unlimited local and STD calls, free SMSes and unrestricted access to Jio apps such as JioTV, Jio Cinema and more.
Reliance Jio has introduced two new sachet packs priced at Rs 24 and Rs 54 with unlimited data and free call benefits for Jio Phone users. This plan offers 1GB data per day and the validity is 82 days. All the packs are subject to unlimited data access at 64Kbps once the daily limit is over. This means that users get a total of 42GB data in this pack. The Rs 54 plan, on the other hand, provides free voice calls, 500MB of $G data daily along with 70 SMS and free Jio apps subscription.
