Kendrick Lamar fans are getting a taste of the rapper's new music through the latest Black Panther trailer.

Not everyone watching Monday night's college football national title game was there for sport. We see Black Panther's humility when his sister Shuri bows in his presence and he tells her to stop.

The 90-second trailer featured as much action as Alabama's overtime win and even included music from rapper, Kendrick Lamar, which was the flawless segue as the Grammy Award victor also headlined the half-time show. Then the first trailer for the Black Panther movie dropped, and Blerds worldwide went insane, blowing Twitter up when the trailer deubted.

Black Panther tickets are now officially on sale, and with them another confirmation: select scenes from the film have been specially formatted for IMAX viewing.

The trailer also exposed more of the other characters in the film, such as Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Zuri (Forest Whitaker), and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).

We all know the story of T'Challa, aka Black Panther; who he was, what he did, his intellect, attitude, bravery and all around style, swagger and flavor.

"Black Panther" viewing parties are already being scheduled around the country for its February release, smack-dab in the middle of Black History Month.

"I want your weapons, your secrets", Kilmonger says in the trailer.

The next issue of Black Panther: Long Live the King will be available January 10 via ComiXology. I think similar to Captain America: "The Winter Soldier, we're definitely influenced by the films of the '70s and influenced by crime fiction".
