Speaking of that, you can now create Stories Highlights to combine your photos and videos that you think are your best or that go together or that showcase the best of what you can do or offer.
Instagram is providing its userbase with more Stories-related features. Today, Instagram unrolled a new feature where your stories don't have to disappear after 24 hours. Only you can see your archived stories, and you can turn off auto-archiving at any time in your profile settings. "Now you can more fully express your identity by grouping stories you've shared into highlights and featuring them on your profile". Well, thanks to the Stories Archive feature Instagram is rolling out, this wouldn't be the case anymore. To edit or remove the highlight just tap and hold on the circle. You can find the Archive on your Profile and switch between the Stories Archive and Posts Archive.
Instagram has rolled out two new tools - Stories Highlights and Stories Archive -for its Stories feature.
From there, you can re-live your favourite stories (#memories). They will appear above the photo grid as a horizontal scroll bar. The new features will be available in version 25 of Instagram for iOS and Android.
Instagram will now automatically save expired Stories in an Archive. The archive is private and therefore only you can see it.
Instagram is now letting all users to save their favorite Stories. The archive feature is created to automatically save your stories once it expires after 24 hours.
Of course, if you don't want to save those moments, you can opt out, according to Instagram. You can include the same number of features as you need from your chronicle and they'll show up as a flat parchment bar over your photograph lattice.
