'Stranger Things' renewed for third season

Netflix has officially announced the renewal of Stranger Things.

The Twitter account for Netflix US posted a poll with the question: "Should we make another season of Stranger Things?" on Friday. The series stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Cara Buono, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink.

Creators Ross and Matt Duffer told Vulture in August they were working on a third season and were looking beyond it to the show's fourth. Season 3 is officially happening'.

Created by twin brothers Ross Duffer and Matt Duffer, the scary and nostalgia-filled sci-fi ensemble drama was truly an overnight phenomenon, dominating pop culture immediately after all episodes of season one were released on the streaming service in July 2016. The brothers said to expect another time jump when we pick up with the new season, similar to that of Season 2's.

Stranger Things has the ability, and maybe even the duty to explore other places and characters set within the nostalgic universe of the show. What was your favorite part of season two?
