Free meals, treats for military members on Veterans Day

Boston Market: Veterans and active duty military personnel can buy one individual meal and get the second one free Friday through Sunday at participating locations only.

IHOP: Free red, white and blue pancakes for veterans and active military on Friday.

Red Robin: Free Double Tavern Burger and all the steak fries your stomach can handle, all day long on Saturday, November 11. Guests must show proof of service such as military or VA card, or discharge papers.

Outback Steakhouse: On Nov. 11, active and retired military receive into a free Bloomin' Onion and Coca-Cola beverage.

Great Clips: Active and retired members of the military can get a free haircut on November 11.

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina: This casual dining Mexican restaurant will give military members the VIP treatment with a combo free meal from open to close.

Saturday, Nov. 11 is Veterans Day, a time for Americans to thanks those who have served their country in the armed forces.

Tijuana Flats: Free Entrée for Veterans and Active military on November 11.

In recent years, some national restaurant chains have begun the practice of demonstrating appreciation for USA military personnel (both veterans and active duty) by offering them discounted or free meals in observance of Veterans Day.

Chuck E Cheese's will be thanking past and present service members on November 11th by offering one free personal pizza to all active and retired military members.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Free small traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries for active and retired military. Offer valid through November 11.

Shoney's: Participating outlets of the Shoney's restaurant chain are offering veterans and active military a free All You Care to Eat Breakfast Bar from 6:00 to 11:00 AM on November 11.

At participating locations, active-duty military and veterans can enjoy a free craft beer.

BJ Restaurants: The restaurant will offer free meals on menu items $12.95 or less on Friday and Saturday.

TOYS "R" US: Through November 11th, 15-percent off in-store purchase with military ID and coupon. The offer is good November 11 from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. A military ID must be presented at checkout.

Ruby Tuesday will provide a free appetizer on Saturday, Nov. 11. It's first come, first service and you'll need military ID.

The lunch is from 11 2 p.m. A veteran's card or valid military ID must be presented to the buffet cashier to qualify for the complimentary meal.

This treat isn't only for veterans, anyone can get in free.

All customers with military ID get a free meal.

- Hair Cuttery: A free haircut certificate will be donated back to a veteran in the area for every customer who gets a haircut Saturday.
