At an attractive price of INR 12,490, or the equivalent of about $193, the Eluga A4 will only be commercially available in India for now.
In terms of the operating system, you will get Android 7.0 Nougat on-board.
The phone has a tough fight in hand against the likes of Xiaomi's Redmi Note 4 and Motorola's G5 Plus. Moreover, powering the phone is a quad-core processor, clocked at 1.25GHz, that is paired with 3GB of RAM. But the Eluga A4's smaller RAM size and display resolution could see buyers heading for the latter.
Moving to hardware, the Eluga A4 features a 5.2-inch HD display with a 2.5 D glass screen to protect it. Also, the brand has equipped the device with its proprietary ARBO assistant, which was first introduced with the Eluga Ray Max (first impressions) and Eluga Ray X. The virtual assistant helps with contextual tasks by understanding a user's habits and providing relevant apps and options as per the time and their location.
Internal storage: The Panasonic Eluga A4 comes with 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable by up to 128GB via a micro-SD card slot. The Eluga A4 comes with the company's own ARBO personal digital assistant Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana Business Head - Mobility Division of Panasonic India said, "The increasing demands for 4G smartphones with a good battery at an affordable price has become a necessity today". At the front is a 5 megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Coming to the phone's main highlight - itsw massive battery. Even the Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 launched earlier this year is also packed with the same 5,000mAh battery. The Panasonic Eluga A4 will be available across both online and offline retail channels.
Ofcourse it has 4G connectivity along with usual WiFi, VoLTE support, Bluetooth and USB OTG. The handset measures 149.5 x 74 x 8.95 and weighs 162 grams.
